Last night I went over to a friends apartment to get a look at her new space. I was completely blown away by it. Exposed brick, raised ceilings, Victorian/ church like windows! Not to mention her pretty baby kiki Mozart! Look for the next round of Ruby Ross photos taken here!

Hello Friends!

My first ever photo shoot was a tremendous success!
I am so very happy with how the photo turned out! Some of these photos have a haunting beauty, and some are incredibly optimistic. I believe the Ruby Ross girl is both dramatic and intelligent, with a quirky sense of humor. These pictures brought this attitude to life! Thank you to the beautiful, Noelle Hollywood, and also to The Ugly Mug Roastery and Cafe for allowing us to shoot our coffee shop photos there!

Hello Doll!! 

As much as I'm a big fan of pin-up make-up; a winged eye, and some red lips, I had to give that a rest and take the 'porcelain doll plunge'. 

A serious dark brow, poppy pink lips and cheeks brought this Ruby Ross girl to life!

Just downloaded the Blogger app for my phone so I can update on the go! This is what I like to call my 'mittenfest state of mind' dress! I wanted to post a picture of myself wearing it so you can see it on the body. Tomorrow it will be photographed on a model for my first ever photo shoot!!! So excited! Must get some shut eye! Goodnight world!

 Mittenfest State of Mind: 1

Mittenfest is an annual New Years Eve musical festival that takes place in Ypsilanti, Michigan. This year, Mittenfest turns 6 years old, and no doubt with each passing year the festival grows! With over 60 Midwestern bands on the line-up, Mittenfest will not disappoint! Not only is this a musical festival, it is also a fundraiser for 826 Michigan

All year round I keep an eye out for a sparkling subtle number that I dream of wearing to one of the Mittenfest nights. This top says (for me) Mittenfest night #1 !
